B.D.S

Dentists diagnose and treat problems with patients’ teeth, gums, and related parts of the mouth. They provide advice and instruction on taking care of the teeth and gums and on diet choices that affect oral health.

Dentists typically do the following:

• Remove decay from teeth and fill cavities
• Repair or remove damaged teeth
• Place sealants or whitening agents on teeth
• Administer anesthetics to keep patients from feeling pain during procedures
• Prescribe antibiotics or other medications
• Examine x rays of teeth, gums, the jaw, and nearby areas to diagnose problems
• Make models and measurements for dental appliances, such as dentures

B.H.M.S

Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is a 5.5-year degree regulated by the National Institute of Homeopathy. Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine. Homeopaths generally begin with detailed examinations of their patients’ histories, including questions regarding their physical, mental and emotional states, their life circumstances and any physical or emotional illnesses. The homeopath then attempts to translate this information into a complex formula of mental and physical symptoms, including likes, dislikes, innate predispositions, and even body type

B.A.M.S

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) is a professional degree in medicine focused on Ayurveda offered in India. It is awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including a 1-year internship. It is an alternative medicine. India has more than 350+ colleges that offer this degree. BAMS graduates have been permitted to practice modern medicine in the state of Maharashtra

Entrance exams in India:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET (UG)), succeeded from All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) is an entrance examination in India for students who wish to study undergraduate medical courses (MBBS) and dental courses (BDS) in government or private medical colleges and dental colleges in India. Undergraduate courses at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) are outside the NEET’s purview, as these institutes were set up by separate laws.
